Automated Speck Analysis in Powders or Slurries for Quality Control
Our Speck Analyzer is available in both at-line and on-line configurations. Typical image analysis is determination of drier specks but the instrument can also analyze for bran, aleurone and ash. Image analysis can be used for quality control in the manufacturing of for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals chemicals, food and other quality control applications. High resolution analysis down to 15-20 microns or rapid “one shot” resolution to ~150 microns. You can decide what is best for your particular application. Specks of different colors can be analyzed at the same time – the operator can also specify the speck diameter you wish to count. The instrument can measure dark specks in white powder, light specks in dark powder, or any other combination up to 5 different speck colors in the sample.
