Unity Scientific has developed a very easy to use system of customer care for all of their customers that have access to the Internet. The name of this concept is UniStar. The UniStar product is available to individuals anywhere in the world via the internet or available to organizations that need to have the program reside inside their own company firewall. UniStar was designed to provide customers with a high level evaluation of their instrument’s performance over time, and a complete calibration database/expansion system for the untrained user. Routine monitoring of the instrument performance, and continued expansion of the product database will assure customers that their instrument is performing its task with the highest possible level of accuracy.
UniStar has two distinct parts that can be used individually or together. They are ChekStar to monitor instrument accuracy, and EvalStar to make sure the prediction model is as accurate as possible for each constituent and each product. The customer joins the Internet service through a ‘Project Manager’. The ‘Project Manager’ assigns a secure site for the customers to obtain their own personalized service. After the customer is assigned a username and password, the customer can begin to use the service. The customer enters the username and password provided by the ‘Project Manager’ and the customer uploads their checkcell file or calibration expansion file for execution.
