Atlanta (January 28, 2020) — Unity Scientific® and Sightline Process Control, Inc. (Sightline), both KPM Analytics companies, will present their advanced analytical solutions for feed analysis and quality control at this year’s IPPE Expo, Jan. 28–30, 2020 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga.

The Unity Scientific exhibit, located in hall A, booth #2455, will feature the Unity Feed Analyzer, a pre-calibrated near infrared analyzer which delivers accurate values for moisture, protein, fat, fiber and other constituents at-line in 30 seconds. The Unity Feed Analyzer is based on the SpectraStar™ XT, the next generation, high-performance NIR analyzer featuring TRUE ALIGNMENT® Spectroscopy technology for reliable calibration and operation.

For robust and reliable performance out of the box, the Unity Feed Analyzer is powered by the INGOT® calibration package from Aunir™. This package includes a full suite of calibrations for finished feed and feed ingredients. Finished feed calibrations are available for poultry, swine/pig, ruminants, horse and fresh/salt water fish, as well as a large range of feed concentrates. With calibrations for over 70 different ingredients, the INGOT calibration package covers virtually all ingredients used in a feed mill and ingredient suppliers. The Unity Feed Analyzer is fully compatible with CommUnity™, a cloud-based program for the remote management of SpectraStar XT Analyzer packages. CommUnity provides companies with a complete set of tools to centralize product configuration, streamline sample data reporting and view diagnostic results for all instruments on their network.

The Sightline exhibit, located in hall B, booth #7677, will feature the BT-300X Washdown Benchtop Vision Inspection System, a compact plant-floor or QA lab-measurement system that delivers accurate and reliable product measurements critical to any processing operation and is key to ensuring product quality, specification compliance and process optimization. The BT-300X is designed to provide results faster and with better repeatability than manual measurements, while providing the ability to measure and quantify product attributes that are difficult or impossible to calculate manually.

The Sightline BT-300X system is the most versatile of any inspection system —it is truly portable and provides the ability to measure any product, in any orientation, to immediately generate, display and store all of the desired attributes within an SQL powered database. In addition, this system can connect directly to a variety of external devices, such as weigh scales and temperature probes, in order to automatically integrate that data into the system.

Streamline the process of grading and measuring raw butterfly chicken breast or cooked/breaded filets, strips or chunks with any of the Sightline Inspection Solutions. For 100% inspection of up to 100 objects per second, deploy Sightline’s Over-Line Inspection System, which attaches easily to an existing conveyor; or the In-Line Inspection System, which can include conveyors, rejection options and multiple industry-related customizations.
