Ardmore, OK August 10, 2014 Bethany Steevens, key account manager, and Dr. Paolo Berzaghi attended the annual NIRSC retreat at the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Discussions during the meeting focussed on calibration expansion, validation, and instrument standardization topics. The meeting was a chance for the NIRSC and Unity to further define procedures and plans for helping the NIRSC serve its members and advancing the analysis of forages.
NIRSC is the NIRS Forage and Feed Testing Consortium. Based in Madison, WI, NIRSC helps its members with technical and calibration support focussed on the analysis of forages by dairy, beef cattle and laboratory users.
